We first had an energy efficiency audit done by SCR. Then we made some no cost and low cost changes. We also installed a small solar system. The changes we made have reduced our energy bill by two thirds. Our December bill from Coopeguanecaste was lowered by $1,100.00 from last year's bill. We are planning to install a larger solar array with SCR to provide all of the power for the Skallywags complex.
