We specialize in Solar Hot Water systems, battery backup, solar electric, wind power and other appropriate technology applications which includes:

Our Scope of Services includes the following construction related services:

We will:

1. Conduct an initial visit to your building site either by viewing site plans, maps, photos, etc and/or physically visiting your site.

2. Conduct an interview with you to assess your needs, while also taking note of your specific site characteristics.

3. Research options for your specific needs with a focus on ‘green’ building standards and recommendations utilizing standards such as the U.S. LEED program.

4. Present you with a report with recommendations, options, and product information

5. Act as your liaison with your architect/builder/contractor to assure quality green solutions

6. Visit the site at least once during construction and report to client

7. Assist hotels to achieve CST (Certification for Sustainable Tourism) rating

8. Provide additional services as needed
 

So How much does it cost?

Payment Schedule
 
1. We charge $45 per hour (design/supervision/meetings/off-site preparation and follow-up).
 
2. Reimbursable expenses are in addition to the above fee and include the following:
·       long distance phone calls, fax, postage, shipping, bank transfer fees
·       transportation and travel expenses while traveling in connection with the project,        if applicable.

3. There is a $200 minimum charge per job in addition to travel expenses. 
 
4. The minimum initial charge to begin work is $200.  If, at the rate of $45/hr, more time      is needed on the job, additional payments, at $100 increments will be required.
 
5. A discount relative to consulting time will be given to our clients on the sale of our products (over $500) .

6. Any estimates are approximate and non-binding, however, a formal proposal of          product sale and installation will gladly be given upon request .
 
7. We bank at Banco Nacional de Costa Rica.
